Gerald Ruben

Director of Operations, Hospitality and Investments

Gerald graduated in hotel management and had work experience with the Savoy Group of Companies, before taking on a senior position with the Hotel Corporation of America.

Along with his wife, he bought their own hotel in England, which they ran successfully for 10 years. Following the sale of the premises, Gerald formed the company Rubens Commercial Estate Agency, specialising in the sale of hotels and leisure properties.

He was a member of BACTA and a fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA). This breadth of hands-on experience - from frontline hotel operations to ownership and specialist property sales - gives Gerald a grounded, practical understanding of the hospitality sector that he brings directly to his work at Megladon.
