1. Controller
Megladon S.L. is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, public intake routes, direct communications, and invite-only workspace access unless a separate written arrangement states otherwise.
Megladon S.L. is based at Cjto Ocean View, Num. 1117 Bloque A, Puerta 1, Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife 38670, Spain.
2. What we collect
We collect information you choose to provide and technical information needed to operate the site and protect private access.
- Identity and contact details such as name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, organisation, role, and preferred contact route.
- Enquiry details such as sector, country or region, authority position, mandate status, relationship source, reason for contact, and confidentiality notes.
- Workspace access data such as invited email address, role, session information, authentication events, and settings.
- Operational records such as correspondence, review notes, next actions, consent records, and status history where needed to handle an enquiry.
- Technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, security logs, language preference, and analytics events that do not intentionally include confidential deal details.
3. What not to send through public forms
Public forms are for first-contact routing. Do not submit asset names, exact addresses, financial records, identity documents, contracts, legal claims, bank details, or confidential transaction materials unless Megladon has specifically requested them through an appropriate private route.
4. How we use personal data
We use personal data to review enquiries, establish role and authority, route follow-up, manage invite-only access, protect confidential workflows, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, and improve the reliability of the website and workspace.
5. Lawful bases
Depending on the context, we rely on legitimate interests, steps taken before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, consent, and legal obligations. Legitimate interests include reviewing serious enquiries, protecting confidential information, preventing abuse, and maintaining professional records.
Where consent is required for a particular communication or optional cookie category, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
6. Sharing and recipients
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with service providers that help operate hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, security, document handling, and communications.
We may also share information with professional advisers, counterparties, or transaction participants only where appropriate, authorised, and consistent with the relevant review, mandate, confidentiality, or disclosure plan.
7. International users
Megladon is established in Spain and may interact with users in Spain, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and selected international markets. Data-protection rules may include the EU GDPR, Spain's data-protection law, the UK GDPR, and the UK Data Protection Act where applicable.
Where data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards where required by law.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for enquiry handling, relationship management, workspace administration, legal compliance, dispute prevention, security, and legitimate business records.
If an enquiry is declined or does not proceed, we may retain a limited record to avoid duplicate outreach, preserve authority context, and maintain audit history.
9. Your rights
Subject to legal limits, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. You may also complain to a relevant data-protection authority.
Send privacy requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication, session continuity, language preference, and security. We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand public-site usage without intentionally collecting confidential deal information. See the Cookie Policy for more detail.
